Upon graduation from the General Medicine Faculty (now the First Medical Faculty) of the Charles University, I entered the 1st Internal Clinic of the ILF (Medical Faculty Institute) (now the IPVZ [Institute for Medical Education]) where I gained the first postgraduate diploma in internal medicine and subsequently also the second postgraduate diploma in internal medicine. Within the framework of the clinic scientific-research programme, I occupied myself with the issues of obesity and its risk factors. Since 1995, I have been working as a private outpatient physician - specialist - in the field of internal medicine. |
